Wellington boots were amongst the items taken in (albeit a small number of) crimes in Compton and Shawford
WELLINGTON boots were amongst the items stolen as intruders raided three homes in Compton near Winchester.
The details were in the monthly police report put before the June meeting of Compton and Shawford Parish Council.
The boots were taken from a house in Compton Street, while properties in Field Way and Cliff Way were also targeted, with a large amount of tools taken from the latter.
Parish members also talked about planning issues, providing affordable housing and the maintenance of footpaths.
Their next meeting will be at 7.30pm Tuesday, July 6 in the Compton Room at Shawford Village Hall.
