A MOTORIST has been fined more than £1,000 for speeding near Alresford.
Mark Ronald Arscott, 44, was clocked by police on the Alresford bypass on doing 91mph in a 67-reg VW when the legal limit is 60.
Arscott, of Bishop's Sutton Road, Bishop's Sutton, near Alresford, admitted the offence committed on October 24 last year.
Magistrates at Aldershot fined him £882 with an £88 victim surcharge and £85 costs. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
