A WINCHESTER man has been banned from nearly a score of city centre pubs for two years after attacking three people, including two police officers.
Charlie John Gleeson, 21, pleaded guilty to assaulting Stuart Richards, PC Andrew Pollock and Special Constable Kate Gray and threatening behaviour at The Albion pub on Stockbridge Road.
Magistrates in Basingstoke found the threatening behaviour offence was racially aggravated.
Gleeson, of Trussell Crescent, Weeke, was hit with a community order and must do 150 hours unpaid work over the next 12 months.
He was also banned for 24 months from: The County Arms, St James Tavern, The Westgate, Railway Inn, Vodka, Winchester University Students Union, O'Neills, The Exchange, The Green Man, Queen Inn, Wykeham Arms, Albion, Muddy Duck, Hyde Tavern, King Alfred, Corner House (shut down), Old Gaol House and Overdraft.
In March Gleeson, who is autistic, was spared jail after assaulting police officers in a drunken incident in Winnall last December. He was sentenced to 12-month community order.
