SOUTHAMPTON’s Novotel will be opening its doors for a major charity wresting event next month.
Robbie Nitro, owner of Charity Wrestling Promotions, has a quality bill lined up to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Star of the show will be world-famous TNA Impact Wrestling superstar Bram who will be in action for one night only before going back to America.
It’s a real coup to get him and Nitro said: “Bram is looking forward to seeing the Southampton crowd and can’t wait to get in the ring as British wrestling is at its very best at the moment.
“Having a current TV wrestler here is huge, not only for us but for the city.
“Bram is well-known all over the world, not only as the hard core king in WWE but as one of the biggest stars in TNA Impact. He is also well-known as one of the hardest stars in ICW in Scotland.
Tickets for the Sunday, August 13 event are £10 adults and £5 under-16s.
Doors open at 4pm for a 5pm start.
The evening will feature six matches, including Southampton’s first ever ‘last man standing’ match which requires a KO for a win. There will also be a CWP heavyweight championship match and, in another first, a women’s fatal four-way.
Tickets can be purchased on the door of the Novotel in West Quay Road or by ringing the hotline number 023 81 027800.
