THERE has been movement in and out of Winchester City.

Former Eastleigh midfielder Ollie Griggs has returned on loan from Dorchester Town, while defender Sam Roberts – signed from AFC Totton over the summer – has joined Gosport Borough.

With no first-team fixture over the weekend, Oli Bailey continued his comeback from injury by scoring in the reserves’ 6-0 win at AFC Stoneham, along with Mark Fawley (2), Josh Corner, Jake Rawkins and Matt Andrews.

City will want striker Bailey fighting fit for this Saturday's huge FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie away to former Football League outfit Torquay United.

Player-manager Craig Davis also took the opportunity of having a 90-minute run-out for the reserves and turned in an impressive display at centre-half.

Earlier in the week Wichester's under-18s had gained revenge on Hartley Wintney for knocking the first team out of the Hampshire FA Senior Cup on penalties.

The young Citizens ran out impressive 5-0 winners over their north Hampshire visitors with Sam Tonks grabbing a hat-trick.
