ETHAN Taylor bagged all four goals as Team Solent picked up a long overdue first win of the Sydenhams Premier campaign, 4-1, at Lymington Town on Saturday.
Taylor - son of manager James - made an already bad week even worse for Lymo who have now lost three games on the spin.
Solent led on 20 minutes when Taylor capitalised on slick passing between Ryan Penny and Hisham Kasimu.
Jake King dragged Lymington back on terms and, as the game ticked past the 80-minute mark, there was no real hint of the drama to come.
But, with eight minutes remaining, Solent edged back in front when Luke Bennett set Taylor up for a neat finish.
Four minutes later the referee pointed to the spot for a foul on Taylor as he weaved into the box and the youngster confidently sent the keeper the wrong way.
Taylor crowned his one-man scoring show in style, running half the length of the pitch before cleverly dinking the ball over the keeper.
With Solent out of bottom spot, Andover New Street now prop up the table after losing to an early Jacob Jarvis goal at home to Cowes Sports.
The day's other Sydenhams Premier game brought a 3-2 win for Hamble Club at Christchurch courtesy of James Goodey, Doug Rowe and Marlon Mason.
Hythe & Dibden top Sydenhams One thanks to a 4-0 home win over Laverstock & Ford – Beng'yela Ngwa, Matt Smith, sub Filippos Terzidis and Sam Woodward the scorers.
