WINCHESTER City have announced a double departure ahead of Saturday's Evo-Stik Division One South test at home to league leaders Yate Town (3pm).
Defender Connor Cocklin and wideman Reece Rusher have been released from the Simplyhealth City Ground by mutual consent.
The pair were signed by the Citizens last summer having been part of the successful Andover Town side that finished runners-up to Blackfield & Langley in the Sydenhams Premier Division but were unable to take promotion.
Winchester’s director of football Dave Malone explained: “Both are talented players, but we are unable to guarantee them first-team football on a regular basis.
“We believe it is in their best interests to move on.”
Winchester's league trip to Fleet Town, rained off last Saturday, has been rearranged for Tuesday (November 20, 7.45pm).
