Ralph Hasenhuttl is keen on a £20m reunion with Ademola Lookman, according to a report in the Independent.
The Saints chief managed the 21-year-old during his time at RB Leipzig and it’s suggested that Everton would be happy to sell the winger.
Lookman has struggled to make an impact on Merseyside this season, making just three Premier League starts.
Hasenhuttl has already stated his desire to recruit players of a certain age who want to prove themselves at the top level.
And with age on his side, Lookman fits that bill.
However, the Independent suggests that Saints aren’t the only side who want to recruit the England Under-21 international.
Fellow south coast club Bournemouth are said to be monitoring his situation, along with RB Leipzig, where Lookman spent six months on loan under Hasenhuttl.
Saints were also linked with a move for the youngster back in January, although nothing materialised.
