SAINTS have decided to postpone an announcement regarding season tickets for the 2020/21 campaign.

This decision has been made because of the uncertainty that has been created due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Covid-19 has already led to professional football being paused until at least April 30, with Saints’ players not due back at Staplewood until April 13.

The club released the following statement regarding season tickets: “Southampton Football Club has made the decision to delay its announcement of 2020/21 Season Ticket details to supporters, in consideration of the continued uncertainty surrounding COVID-19.

“These are testing times for many of our fans, who will have priorities elsewhere right now, and with the disruption to the fixture calendar, it has felt only right to postpone the club’s planned announcement for existing Season Ticket holders until normality resumes.

“Sales dates will remain under review and supporters will be updated as soon as we are in a position to do so.

“Alongside this announcement, the club will await further developments from the Premier League on when it is safe to resume hosting matches, until which point the sales windows for our remaining fixtures in 2019/20 shall also remain on hold.”
