Plenty of pud - but no goals.
Stockbridge 0, Andover New Street 0.
This contest was played on a bleak, cold Boxing Day morning, and unfortunately the occasion did nothing to raise the temperature of the spectators as both sides struggled to string two passes together.
After a very forgettable first half, things did get slightly better in the second period. New Street tested the Stockbridge keeper a couple of times soon after the restart and Stockbridge finally shook off their Christmas pud in the last 15 minutes and could easily have snatched a winner. However, neither side deserved to take all the points and the final whistle came as a great relief.
This coming Saturday (Dec 30) Stockbridge are at home to local Sydenhams League Div 1 rivals Romsey Town.
