Chichester II 3 Winchester 6 Winchester continued their good early season with an apparently comfortable win in Sussex. However, in similar fashion to the previous week, they had to overcome early setbacks in order to progress to their final victory.

Chichester had the best of the early exchanges and might have scored numerous times before they finally did so after ten minutes from a short corner.

Exploiting large expanses of empty pitch as Winchester pressed their left and right defenders into advanced positions, Chichester quickly moved the ball forward to their dangerous forwards.

Indeed, Chichester were able to take a 2-0 lead five minutes later with a brilliant deflection.

But Winchester hit back for a comfortable win in the ens with Andy Winnett among the scorers.
