A FUNDRAISING ball held in memory of a woman from Romsey who died of bowel cancer raised more than £14,000.

The Jenna Marie Foundation Snow Ball was held at the Grand Harbour Hotel in November and saw nearly 320 people attend.

Now her family, who organised the event, are thanking all those who showed their support after they declared their fundraising amount and made their first donation to the chemotherapy department at Southampton Hospital.

The foundation was established after Jenna Marie Fallowfield, a mum of two, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2020 aged 39. She died on April 10, 2021.
